Systeme.io, Tested by Someone Who Uses It Every Day

Updated September 1, 2026

I'm Guy Micheletti, and Systeme.io is the platform I run my own online business on. This site is where I share what I've learned: an in-depth review, a plain-English pricing breakdown, and a full user guide with 179 tutorials I wrote from inside my own account. No hype, no invented numbers, just what the tool does and where it stops.

If you're weighing up Systeme.io for your funnels, emails or online courses, start here.

What Systeme.io does

Systeme.io is an all-in-one platform for running an online business from a single login. Rather than paying separately for a page builder, an email service and a course host, you get them in one place:

  • Sales funnels and landing pages
  • Email marketing with unlimited sends on every plan
  • Marketing automation with tags, rules and workflows
  • Online courses and membership areas
  • A blog, a booking calendar and webinars
  • Payment integrations (Stripe, PayPal and more) with 0% transaction fees
  • An affiliate program you can run for your own products

For a solo founder or a small team, the appeal is consolidation. One subscription, one system, fewer things to break between tools.

Why I keep using it

I've tried the stitched-together approach: a separate builder, a separate email tool, a separate course platform, three bills and a lot of integrations that quietly failed. Moving everything into Systeme.io cut the cost and cut the breakage. When your checkout, your emails and your course access live in the same system, an automation can carry a customer through all of it without a single connector in the middle.

Two details matter more than they first appear. Email sending is unlimited, even on the free plan, so you're not rationing campaigns against a monthly cap. And the platform charges 0% transaction fees, so it doesn't skim your sales on top of what your payment processor already takes.

The affiliate program is also part of the picture for me personally. It pays 60% recurring commission, and it's one of the ways I earn from the platform I already use. I explain the mechanics in the guide rather than dressing it up as a get-rich promise, because it isn't one.

Start with the free plan

You don't need to spend anything to judge Systeme.io. The free plan gives you 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels, unlimited emails, one blog, one course and one affiliate program, with no credit card required. That's enough to build a real funnel, collect leads and even make a sale before you decide.

My advice to beginners is always the same: start free, build one funnel end to end, and only move to a paid plan when a real limit gets in your way. When that happens, the pricing page walks through which plan fits which stage.

Where it falls short

I'd rather tell you this now than have you find out later. The page builder is capable but less flexible than WordPress with a tool like Elementor, so design-led brands will feel the ceiling. The built-in blog is fine for occasional posts but basic for serious content marketing. And the free plan's caps arrive faster than you'd expect once things are working. My full review goes through the trade-offs in detail.

Frequently asked questions

What is Systeme.io in one sentence?

It's an all-in-one platform that combines sales funnels, email marketing, automation, online courses, a blog and an affiliate program under a single login, so a small business can run online without a stack of separate tools.

Is there really a free plan?

Yes. It costs nothing, needs no credit card, and includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, unlimited emails, one blog and one course. It's a working plan, not a locked demo.

Who is Systeme.io best for?

Solo founders, coaches, course creators and small businesses that want one system instead of six. It's especially friendly to beginners, since you only have to learn one interface.

What does it cost if I upgrade?

Paid plans are $17 (Startup), $47 (Webinar) and $97 (Unlimited) per month. Each raises your limits and adds features. The pricing page explains what changes at each step.

Does Systeme.io take a cut of my sales?

No. It charges 0% transaction fees. You only pay your payment processor, such as Stripe or PayPal, their standard rate.

Who writes this site?

I do. I'm Guy Micheletti, a daily Systeme.io user based in France, and I wrote every tutorial in the user guide myself. You can read more about me and how I keep this site honest.
