How to Sell an Online Course
Introduction
You sell a course on systeme.io by connecting it to a funnel order form as a digital product. After payment, the buyer can be enrolled in the course automatically when the course is linked as a resource.
What You Need
- A course created in systeme.io — how to create a course
- A sales funnel
- An order form (payment page) in that funnel
Step 1: Open the Order Form
In your sales funnel, click your order form (payment page). You will add the course you created to this page.
Step 2: Create a Digital Product Offer
- On the order form settings, select Digital product from the offer types
- Click the + icon in the Digital Product section to create a new digital product
- Name the product (e.g. your course offer name)
Step 3: Link the Course as a Resource
- Click the + icon to add a resource to your offer
- Select Courses
- Choose the course you want to sell
This ties checkout to course access (order form resources). Purchasers can be added as students without manual enrollment.
Step 4: Add a Price Plan
After adding the resource, create a price: click the + icon next to Price plans and add a new price (one-time or plan supported by your setup). Save the order form and funnel.
Launch and Sell
Send traffic to your funnel sales pages. When someone completes checkout on the order form, they receive access to the linked course. Use systeme.io email and automations to onboard new students.
Troubleshooting
Payment works but no course access
Confirm the course is attached under Resources on the digital product offer.
Course not in the list
Create and save the course under Assets → Courses first.
