Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data I collect on this site, why I collect it, and what you can do about it. I'm Guy Micheletti. I run Launch Business Pro on my own, and I keep the data I hold to the minimum I actually need.

Short version: the only personal detail I hold is your email address, and only if you choose to email me directly. I don't run ads, and I don't track you with analytics.

What I collect

Two things, and only two:

  • Your email address, but only if you choose to email me directly at mgksolaris@gmail.com. There's no signup form on the site, so unless you write to me, I never get your email. If I add a signup form or a newsletter later, I'll update this page before collecting anything through it.
  • Basic server logs. Like almost every website, the server that hosts this site records standard technical information each time a page loads: things like your IP address, your browser type, and the time of the visit. I don't use these logs to identify you, and I don't link them to your email. They exist so the site keeps running and stays secure.

Who handles your data

I don't store your data on my own computers. Two service providers are involved:

  • If you email me, your message lands in my inbox, which runs on Gmail, provided by Google. You can read Google's privacy policy for how they handle it.
  • Hostinger hosts the site and keeps the server logs described above. You can read Hostinger's privacy policy for how they handle it.

These are the providers behind my email and my hosting, nothing more. I don't sell your data, and I don't share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

Why I collect it, and for how long

Your email has one job: to let me reply to you and deal with whatever you got in touch about. I don't use it for anything else, and I don't add you to a marketing list. I keep your message only as long as I need it to handle your request, and I delete it if you ask me to.

The server logs exist so I can keep the site online and secure. The legal basis for your email is your consent. For the logs, it's my legitimate interest in running the site safely. The logs are kept by Hostinger, my hosting provider, for a limited period, in line with its own privacy policy linked above.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't set its own cookies, and I don't use advertising trackers or analytics tools like Google Analytics. I'm not building a profile of you. If you click one of my affiliate links to Systeme.io, Systeme.io may set its own cookies on its own site, which is covered by Systeme.io's privacy policy. If I ever add analytics or other cookies, I'll update this page first.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask me to:

  • show you the data I hold about you (access),
  • correct it if it's wrong (rectification),
  • delete it (erasure).

You can also withdraw your consent at any time, and you can complain to your local data protection authority if you think I've got something wrong. To have your email removed, or for anything else, just email me at mgksolaris@gmail.com and I'll take care of it.
