Introduction
The Latest blog posts carousel element combines a post teaser with a slider: visitors swipe or click through your most recent articles. On systeme.io, you typically add it on the Post list page (or other blog pages you edit under Pages). Posts fill in automatically from your blog—no manual cards.

What You Need
- A systeme.io account ( plan)
- A blog with at least one blog post
- Optional: categories for filtered carousels
Step 1: Open the Post List Page Editor
- Navigate to the Sites tab
- Click Blogs
- Click your blog's title
- Go to the Pages section
- Click the three dots next to Post list page → Edit
You can also add the carousel on Home or custom pages via the same Pages list ( blog pages).
Step 2: Add the Carousel Element
- In the editor, find Latest blog posts carousel in the elements panel
- Drag and drop it onto the page
- Your blog posts automatically appear within the element
- Click the element's settings button to open parameters
Place it above the full archive grid configured in post list page setup, or on the homepage as a highlight strip.
Step 3: Key Settings
The key settings for this element include:
- Number of slides for the carousel — how many posts participate in the slider
- Blog post image position — above text, left of text, or background image
- Category — show only posts from one category, or all categories if none selected
- Number of posts per row — display more than one post visible per slide/row
- Display or not the arrow navigation — show prev/next arrows
- Controls color — color of slide indicators / controls
Adjust card styling (shadows, spacing) in the same panel as other listing elements. Save the page when done on systeme.io.

The standard Latest blog posts block shows a fixed teaser list (count, horizontal layout). The carousel variant adds sliding navigation and per-row density—use the carousel for hero sections; keep the main blog post listing for paginated archives.
