How to Add a Form or a Popup on Your systeme.io Blog

Blog readers are prime leads—but the built-in Contact us element is not your only option. You can embed a full opt-in inline form or a popup form from a sales funnel onto any systeme.io blog page using the funnel Script (or Create a link for click-triggered popups) inside a Raw HTML block.

This guide follows How to add a form or a popup on your systeme.io blog.

• A systeme.io account ( plan)
• A blog ( create a blog)
• A sales funnel used only to host the form steps (can be a dedicated “Blog capture” funnel)

1. Open your Sales funnel
2. Click Create step (or Add step)
3. Choose Inline Form from the opt-in category
4. Pick a template → Select
5. Click Edit page to customize fields, button, tags, and thank-you redirect

Configure automations (tags, campaigns) on the form step so blog signups enter your email system on systeme.io.

1. In the same or another funnel, click Add step
2. Choose Popup Form
3. Select a template → Select
4. Edit page to design the popup (fields, styling, submit action)

Popup forms on blogs can display in two ways:

• Automatically — after a time delay (embed via Script, same method as inline forms)
• On click — visitor clicks linked text (use Create a link — see below)

Inline form (or automatic popup)

1. Go to the form step configuration (inline or popup)
2. Click Script
3. In the popup, click Copy link to clipboard

Popup on click

1. Open configuration for your Popup Form step
2. Click Create a link
3. Choose the clickable text content
4. Click Copy link to clipboard

For text links you only need Create a link, not the full page script ( popup from text link).

1. Sites → Blogs → your blog
2. Open Pages or Posts → Edit the target page
3. Drag a Raw HTML element onto the page
4. Open the element settings → Edit code
5. Paste the script you copied from the funnel form step
6. Click Save on the element
7. Click Save changes in the page editor before leaving

You can place the inline form mid-article in a post, in the sidebar area of a page, or in the blog layout if your template allows.

For a simple message form without funnel scripts, edit the blog Contact page or drag the Contact us element onto any blog page—see Contact us feature. Funnel forms are better when you need the same opt-in design as landing pages or external embeds ( external site embed).

Form does not appear

Script not pasted in Raw HTML; page not saved; ad blocker blocking script; wrong funnel step copied.

Popup never opens on click

Used Script instead of Create a link code; HTML pasted outside visible area.

Submissions missing tags

Fix tags and rules on the funnel form step, not on the blog page.

Contact systeme.io support with blog URL and funnel step name.

Can I use one form on multiple blog pages?

Yes—paste the same Script into Raw HTML on each page; all submissions share that funnel step settings.

Can I add a popup inside the blog editor without a funnel?

Funnel-based popups use Script/Create a link; page-editor Popups button applies to funnel pages, not the blog embed flow described here.
