How to reset a student's course progress

Sometimes a student needs to start a course completely from the beginning (for example after a technical issue, a second attempt, or a coaching program). On systeme.io you can easily reset their progress so they return to 0%.

Here is the complete guide.

1. Open the student profile

Log in to your systeme.io account.

Go to Assets → Courses → Students.

Click on the email address of the student whose progress you want to reset. This opens their full profile page.

2. Select “Reset progress”

On the student profile, scroll to the Enrollments section.

Find the course, click the three dots (...) next to it, and select Reset progress.

3. Confirm the reset

A confirmation popup will appear.

Click Confirm to permanently reset the progress for that course.

The student’s progress for this course immediately returns to 0%. They will have to start all lectures and modules from the beginning.

Important notes

• A 1-month grace period is applied after the reset. During this period you can still recover the previous progress by contacting support.
• To recover the data, contact support and provide:
  • Your account email address
  • The student’s email address
  • The name of the course
• After the 1-month period, the previous progress can no longer be recovered.
