How to create a light course

On systeme.io you can create two types of courses: classic courses and light courses. Light courses are a simpler and faster way to build and sell online courses, especially when you want a clean product page inside a Creator Store.

Here is the complete guide to create a light course.

1. Go to Creator stores

Log in to your systeme.io account.

Go to the Sites tab and click Creator stores.

Select the store you want to use (or create one if you don’t have any yet).

2. Add a new product and choose “Sell a course”

Click Add new product.

Select the option Sell a course.

Important: Light courses can only be created using the “Sell a course” option inside a Creator Store.

In the Thumbnail tab, customize the header image, title, button text and subtitle of your product page, then continue.

3. Choose Light course and build the content

On the Course tab, select Light course.

You can either select an existing course or click Create a new light course.

Enter a Title and a Description for your light course.

Then scroll down to the Add modules section:

1. Click Add module
2. Name the module and save
3. Click Add lecture inside the module
4. Add a title and body text for the lecture
5. Upload a video and/or a file attachment if needed
6. Optionally set a Delay (in days) for drip content
7. Click Save

Repeat the process for all modules and lectures you want to include.

Once a delay is set, a “Drip” label automatically appears next to the lecture.
